Cellynne Chooses Xirrus Wi-Fi for Paper Manufacturing Plant

March, 2008, Haines City, Florida - Xirrus, Inc., the only Wi-Fi "Power-Play" that can replace Ethernet workgroup switches with Wi-Fi as the primary network connection, announced today the deployment of their Wi-Fi Arrays at the Cellynne Corporation's headquarters consisting of offices, manufacturing, and distribution warehousing.

Cellynne Corporation is a leading manufacturer and supplier of a wide variety of premium paper and towel products, such as jumbo roll tissue, paper towels, folded towels, kitchen roll towels, bathroom tissue, napkins, facial tissue and dispensers for both away-from-home and at-home markets. They are widely recognized in the industry for their innovative products, long-term partnerships with customers, and steady, profitable growth in a changing global market.

To further increase automation with robotics, Cellynne needed a pervasive Wi-Fi network connecting wireless scanners on forklifts, handheld scanners, and notebook computers to the Enterprise Resource Planning system in order to track all materials and products from receiving, to manufacturing, to shipping. However, the traditional controller-based Wi-Fi architectures failed to meet the reliability and coverage requirements within the 238,000 square foot facility.

"Cellynne needed a wireless infrastructure for improved warehouse management," said Russ Mattingly, regional sales manager at Xirrus. "If a forklift picks something up, it needs to be tracked to the central database--Xirrus delivered the Wi-Fi infrastructure needed to make this a reality for them."

Stefco Demonstrates Commitment to the Environment by Joining U.S. Green Building Council

October 31, 2007, Haines City, FL – Stefco Industries, a leading manufacturer of bath tissue and towel products for the commercial and consumer markets, announced today that it has become a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)®. The USGBC® is the nation’s foremost coalition of leaders from across the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally sound, profitable and healthy places to live and work.

“Conserving our natural resources has become a top priority at Stefco Industries,” says Joseph Smith, National Sales Manager. “We are continually refining our operations and manufacturing processes to minimize the impact on the environment, while still maintaining the same level of quality our brands are known for.”

Stefco’s recent efforts to reduce or eliminate the environmental impact of their business operations include buying paper pulp made without chlorine. The company’s paper mill is environmentally friendly, utilizing 85% less water than the industry average and using a manufacturing process that results in no solid waste sent to landfills . In its manufacturing plant, cartons, cores and paper wraps are made from recycled fibers. Stefco also requires its suppliers to use manufacturing processes that do not harm the environment.
